1. Hand wash with cold water

Take a basin and fill it approximately 3 quarters full with cold water max 30° (we do not recommend using the washing machine or dryer); In the case of garments with silk and leather applications, dry cleaning is recommended;

2. Use soaps for delicates

Pour 1 capful of our concentrated Cashmere Shampoo into the basin and mix it with water (dosage for one sweater; alternatively you can use another delicate soap for wool);

3. SOAK YOUR SWEATER

we recommend turning the shirt upside down and washing only shirts of the same color together;

4. CLEAN CAREFULLY

Cashmere loves water and its fibers are ruined when washed. Leave to soak for approximately 3 minutes;

5. Rinse in cold water

removing excess water with light pressure without twisting the garment;

6. use a towel to dry

lay out a towel and place the washed shirt on top. Start rolling gently, applying light pressure to absorb excess water. Leave to dry flat and away from heat sources and direct sunlight;

IRON THE CASHMERE

Set the iron temperature to minimum and use a slightly damp protective cloth between the iron and the garment;

The pilling explained by the expert

All knitwear items, whether those made with natural yarns (in our case Cashmere) or synthetic ones, can form pilling. Therefore it is not a signal of low quality but it is only a thin and superficial excess of the shorter fibers which, due to rubbing with other surfaces, tend to join together forming the so-called "balls". It would be possible to reduce this phenomenon by treating Cashmere with industrial processes but there would be a serious loss of quality in terms of the softness of the garment.

how to remove remove pilling

If the garment forms "balls" (pilling), you can gently remove them with our special comb or with our Pilling Pro (do not use on silk garments).  First wash the shirt and then only intervene on the affected part. Use the comb to gently remove the balls, with a movement in a single direction, against the grain, from bottom to top evenly.

OTHER TIPS

Avoid prolonged rubbing due to washing and let the garment therefore rest in the open air after every 2nd day of use, so that the natural fibers of the cashmere can return to their original shape; Store your folded clothes in the closet in our protective-bag or use a natural anti-moth protection;
